For those of you out there downloading the America’s Next Top Superhero clips, just a quick word about a delay in getting Episode 1 online. It’s nearly finished, but I don’t know if I’ll have time to get it done by Friday, and I already know I won’t have time to work on it this weekend.

I’m fine-tuning Episode 1, finalizing the music and potentially adding another 30 seconds or so of content. I’m also about half-way through Episode 2, which has been progressing quickly, but I’m now approaching the effects-heavy portion of the episode so I expect the second half will go slower.

My initial hope was for these episodes to show up online on a steady, weekly basis, but I’m growing increasingly unsure that I’ll be able to hit that. It might be more like in the 10-14 days sort of frequency, mostly due to the extra time I’m spending on effects.

If I don’t have a new episode ready to go every Friday, I’ll at least try to post an update with when I anticipate the next episode will be available. And once I have the first episode ready to go, I’ve been working on a little website where all of these clips can live. I’ll still post about them on this blog, but I’ll also have a dedicated page where you can access all of the videos.

So that’s where things are at right now. My best guess right now is that Episode 1 will be online Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
